The Festival will take place within November 17-21, 2020 in Yekaterinburg. It is the only venue in Russia which brings together various theatrical, dance and musical inclusive groups from Russia and other countries.
The contest accepts not only brand new presentations, but also the repertoire ones. This rule was introduced by the Festival organizers due to the restrictive measures, since the creative inclusive groups had no opportunity to rehearse and to create new projects for six months. Video material (recordings of artistic performances), that has not been shown at previous Gala concerts of the "INCLUSIVE ART" Festival, is allowed to participate in online competition.
Vera Simakova, the Director of “Blagoe Delo”, the leader and one of the Festival’s organizers, comments in her interview to the Social Information Agency: “We have already received more than a hundred applications for the Festival’s competition from various parts of our country. Among them we again welcome our regular participants, as this is the fourth time the festival has been held… Our Festival is well known, much loved and impatiently looked forward to”.
In case the restrictive measures introduced due to COVID-19 are extended for the duration of the Festival, then it will take place online: it will transform into a creative online lab where the leaders of the inclusive teams will perform as the participants, and the international experts will stand as the speakers. Two Gala concerts presenting the Festival’s laureates are also planned in online format.
The 4th International Festival “INCLUSIVE ART» will be held with the support of the Ministry of Social Policy and the Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovskaya region.
